Access: Macclesfield Forest is situated to the east of Macclesfield. The Trentabank car park is accessed from the A523 via Langley. Postcode for satnav: SK11 0NS. A minibus-accessible pay and display car park is available.

It is a great facility providing endless walking routes and some great Mountain Biking and Horse Riding tracks

The two highest points in Cheshire are very close by, Shining Tor the highest at 559 metres can be seen from many areas of the forest and Shutlingsloe at 509 metres high overlooks the forest and is a great walk with stunning views.
